Fire & Earth is currently recruiting a team of teachers who have achieved significant recognition both as working professional artists and as teachers with the ability to technically train and philosophically inspire students.
We are looking for a mix of faculty that will allow us to offer the range of classes we want to provide --- including sculpture, painting and drawing . . . as well as courses that focus on the "newer" art forms including animation skills and web design.
A Special Focus
Our goal in selecting faculty is to ensure that all of our courses provide a base of skills and technical expertise.
At the same time, and perhaps more importantly, we are looking for teachers who are able to weave into their courses, the focus that Fire & Earth has on creating art that matters.
We want to ensure that the underlying passion that inspires a path toward art making, and the values that art provides for us individually and as a society at large, are supported by courses that add knowledge, theory and inspiration to a student’s passion.
